He has been selected as a New York State Super Lawyer for three consecutive years and has received the Martindale-Hubbell® Client Distinction Award for four years in a row. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of all lawyers in the State of New York receive this honor.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Champion Award
The Boyd Law Group, PLLC has received the 2018 Client Champion - Silver Distinction award from Martindale-Hubbell. The Client Champion awards are given to an elite group off attorneys who demonstrate commitment to client service based on the quantity and quality of their scores on Martindale-Hubbell client reviews. This is the second year in a row that BLG has received this award.

Martindale-Hubbell is an online service that provides reviews of individual lawyers as well as the law firms that they work for and is designed to provide people seeking legal help with unbiased feedback and additional information to help them find the right attorney. According to the company, Martindale.com contains profiles for more than one million lawyers and law firms across the world. This award is given only to 1% of attorneys.

Avvo helps people find and connect with the right lawyer through industry leading content, tools and services. Avvo provides transparent information about attorneys, with Avvo-rated profiles for 97% of practicing lawyers in the United States.
The Avvo rating is calculated using a mathematical model that considers all of the information in the lawyer’s profile. Avvo looks at a lawyer’s years of experience, disciplinary history, industry recognition, and professional accomplishments in order to create their rating on a scale of 1-10. The website also collects background data from other sources including bar associations and city records. After gathering as much information about an attorney as possible, the website calculates a score. As Avvo uses a mathematical model, the website can ensure that the ratings are unbiased and not determined based on favoritism.
