Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue provides animals in need with the same love, care and compassion shown to family pets. Since opening their doors in 2005, they have placed more than 5,000 neglected and unwanted cats and dogs in caring homes throughout Ridgefield, CT and surrounding towns. ROAR’s staff and volunteers are committed to enhancing the remarkable bond between people and pets through their education and outreach programs, sharing information about the rewards of adopting a pet, responsibilities of pet ownership, and working with student groups in developing ways to “give back” to animals in need.
