Russell represents both employers and employees in cases involving employment discrimination, contractual disputes, wage and hour issues (e.g., overtime, employee misclassification) and a variety of other employment-related claims. He frequently litigates matters involving covenants not to compete, confidential information and trade secrets and unfair competition. Russell also provides advice and counsel regarding, among other things, policies and procedures, issues related to discipline and termination, leaves of absence, and independent contractor compliance. Russell appears regularly before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and private arbitration forums.

In his 13 years of practice before forming his own firm and affiliating as Of Counsel to The Boyd Law Group, PLLC, Russell practiced law at several national firms with well-regarded labor and employment groups. Russell frequently publishes articles on labor and employment topics of interest and has authored or co-authored articles appearing in publications including The New York Law Journal, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, HR Specialist, Workforce Management Online,, The Legal Intelligencer and Andrews Litigation Reporter.
